Jeppe Utzon Table #2 is an exclusive solid wood table, created for DK3 by the Danish designer and architect Jeppe Utzon. The table has a characteristic expression with clear references to the traditional Danish interpretation of the Shaker style. It has been created with focus on a simple, functional design, respect for the raw material and with the aim to utilize the wood as optimal as possible.
The natural structure of the wood is beautifully united with the unique carpentry joints. An example is the use of wooden wedges in the leg construction. Apart from ensuring a stable construction, the wedges also take centre stage in the visual design of the table, instead of being hidden away.
